It looked like there was at least 10 cm of fresh snow in the Moraine Lake Road parking lot and it was still coming down Here comes Canada's National ski team. This is the end of the groomed trail. The road continues on(ungroomed) for another 3K, but there's avalanche danger.
Chip breaking trail A pleasure to watch John was finally able to pull the roller.
Covered with snow, the trees looked beautiful. And there they go. If you blink, you'll miss them. You can see the nice smooth corduroy behind the roller. It was soon covered by more fresh snow.
I needed 5K today to reach 10,000K since I started skiing in 1997. When we got here, the snow stopped, the sun came out, and two lovely ladies Mireille and Sylvia appeared to help me celebrate! Chip has climbed to the peak of Mount Temple which you see in the background. Look who's here! It's Ivo and Alana.
My friend Chip has skied at least 1000K of those with me. Theresa and Gus are regular readers of SkiHere.ca. Thanks for flagging me down and chatting for a while. Patricia has come all the way from Sweden.
